Realord Group included in the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect
(March 6, 2023 – Hong Kong) Realord Group Holdings Limited (“Realord” or the “Company,” together with its subsidiaries collectively known as the “Group,” stock code: 1196.HK) is pleased to announce that the Company will become a constituent stock of the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, with effect from March 13, 2023 (Monday).
Recently, the Shanghai Stock Exchange ("SSE") issued the "Shanghai Stock Exchange Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect Business Implementation Measures (Revised in 2023)" and the relevant provisions of the notice (Shang Zheng Fa [2023] No. 53), which mentioned that more listcos have been included and promoted to the Shanghai stock market has further promoted the integration of the capital markets of Shanghai and Hong Kong, which accelerated the two-way interconnection, and brought more choices and convenience transaction to investors in the two places.
This time, the Group was included as a target of the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, marking that the Group's diversified business development and growth performance have once again been recognized by the capital market. The Group will continue to strive for the best returns for the investors.

The "Two Sessions" (the annual plenary sessions of the National People's Congress and of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC)), is being held in Beijing, China. Hong Kong Members of the National CPPCC from stated that they should play a two-way role as a bridge and fulfill their duties, and use Hong Kong's strengtheness to actively integrate into the overall development of the country.

National CCPPC Member Dr. Bryan Lin: it is recommended to speed up the mutual recognition of talent qualifications in the Greater Bay Area
On February 28, Dr. Bryan Lin, a member of National Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference prepared a number of proposal this year, including the Flow of Talents in the Greater Bay Area, Hong Kong Border Ports’ Upgrading and Transformation, and the interconnection of insurance industry among the Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzhen. Among them, in the "Proposal on Accelerating the Expansion of Mutual Recognition of Qualifications in the Greater Bay Area to Promote the Flow of Professional Talents", Lin Xiaohui suggested that under the integrated development of the Greater Bay Area, various localities should adopt different policies and measures to accelerate the mutual recognition of talent qualification.
He pointed out that high-quality development cannot be separated from the support of talents. With the acceleration of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development, huge economy and talent attraction will be released. To build up a world-class high-level talent-oriented area is also one of the most important goals of the Greater Bay Area Development. Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao have always paid attention to and attached importance to issues such as talent training, talent attraction, and talent circulation. They have negotiated and cooperated in various aspects in terms of mutual recognition of higher education qualifications and professional qualifications. However, there are still differences in the political system, economic environment, legal system, and cultural background among three places, which have become the shackles of talent circulation. For example, a more effective mechanism for mutual recognition of academic qualifications and professional qualifications for the fields like doctors, teachers, and accountants, has not yet been realized. Moreover, Hong Kong's sub-degree qualifications are not recognized by other universities in the Greater Bay Area.
Through interviews and analysis, Lin found that the current scope of mutual recognition of professional qualifications is still small and insufficient to meet the needs of certain important areas. Emerging industries in the Greater Bay Area, such as finance, innovative technology, and medical industries, have not yet been fully opened up, while industries such as IT and modernized services industry, are rarely touched upon; the education and vocational qualification systems in the Mainland are not completely equivalent to Hong Kong's qualifications structure, for example, there are differences in some academic levels, qualification, certification, classification and scope of practice.
He also noticed that it is more difficult to connect with the industry, and the existing policies remain at a relatively superficial level. For example, registered medical professional technicians with legal qualifications in Hong Kong can only practice in the Mainland for a short period of time; the professional qualification examination threshold is high and the procedures are cumbersome. The approval time is too long, and it is not easy for many professionals in the two places to apply for mutual recognition of professional qualifications, and the application intention will be reduced under such circumstances.
In this regard, Bryan Lin suggested that the Guangdong Province, Hong Kong and Macao should jointly establish a "Coordination Bureau for Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications" to connect with professional industry organizations in various places, so as to play a coordinating role to speed up the process of mutual recognition of professional qualifications. Launch the pilot project to conduct a large-scale research on the development needs of the Greater Bay Area to flexibly docking for the industries with talent shortages in various regions, including mutual recognition of some professional qualifications, direct exemption of qualification examination for some subjects of relevant practitioners, etc; Accelerate the promotion of “Credit Bank” plan to carry out the identification, accumulation and conversion of the academic education and non-academic education learning achievements in the Greater Bay Area; Further relax the mutual recognition of qualifications in emerging industries such as the Internet, real estate, testing and certification, research and development, design, exhibitions, and modern service industries.
He also suggested that the government departments of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao should cooperate with famous enterprises to launch special internship programs, and provide highly professional and challenging internship positions for undergraduates or young people who are preparing to obtain professional qualifications in cities in the Greater Bay Area, to lay the foundation for future mobile employment; according to the characteristics of various industries in various places, provide pre-examination training for those who are preparing to obtain professional qualifications, and eliminate the troubles caused by external factors such as examination modes, language habits, and information inconsistencies.

Introduced to the media at the Shenzhen CPPCC Plenary Session on February 13, Lin believed that although many new passages have been opened in Longhua District in recent years, the increase in passages still lags behind the increase in number of vehicles as well as the population, which seriously restricts the inner circulation of the city and reduces the economic efficiency. It also seriously affects the sense of gain and happiness of the citizens. The traffic bottlenecks need to be solved with great efforts and courage.”
After more than 40 years of development in Shenzhen’s urban road construction, although great progress has been made, there are still obvious shortcomings. Among them, the problem of traffic congestion between Futian District, Nanshan District, and Longhua District has become increasingly prominent, which has become a bottleneck restricting the inner circulation of the districts. Longhua District, which is nicknamed “Sleeping City” on the internet. Due to the separation of jobs and residences for a large number of young people, they work in Futian and Nanshan Science and Technology Park during the day and return to live in Longhua at night, causing enormous pressure on the already congested commuting roads.
"Several main passages connecting Longhua to Futian continue to be congested in the morning and evening peak hours, lasting for half an hour or even an hour or two hours. The congestion time of individual road sections lasts from 7:00 am to more than 10:00 am, and is listed as the most congested road section in Shenzhen all the year round. Some roads have been selected as one of the most congested road sections in Shenzhen for a long time, which discourage Hong Kong young people who originally thought of Longhua to develop and start a business." Dr. Bryan Lin Xiaohui, CPPCC member and had conducted a full investigation, introduced to the media at the Shenzhen CPPCC Plenary Session on February 13. He believes that although new passages have been opened in Longhua District in recent years, but they still lag behind the increase in population and vehicles, which seriously restricts the inner circulation of the city and reduces the efficiency of economic operation; it also seriously affects the sense of gain and happiness of citizens feel. The traffic bottleneck between the two places needs to be solved with great efforts and courage.
How to strengthen the construction of urban road infrastructure to create a livable, resilient and smart city? Lin Xiaohui gave a good prescription: It is recommended to add multiple new passages, to speed up the construction of the Northeast Extension Project of the Qiaocheng, to connect the key areas in the district, and to strengthen the traffic connection between Longhua and the downtown areas. The relevant government departments estimate the travel time of road traffic in the direction of Longhua to the downtown area will be reduced by about 15-20% in the future.
Lin called for speeding up the construction of public transportation such as subways, and drawing on the "P+R transfer" (park and ride) method in developed countries such as Britain and the United States to provide drivers with the option of transferring to subways or buses. He suggested that large public parking lots be built near the subway and bus station in Longhua district, so that people can drive to the edge of traffic congestion, park their cars in the parking lot, and then use the subway or bus to travel. The total commuting time is greatly reduced and the commuting experience will be improved. And adjust the planning or increase the density of Longhua subway in the long-term planning.
